Welcome to the Black Rock Animal Hospital and the East Bentleigh Veterinary Clinic.

Both practices are known by many as "The Blue Clinic with the Cows!" and are easily seen while travelling in the area.  Running two practices in conjunction helps to build up that ‘critical mass' so vital in being able to provide our clients with a high level of investment required for sophisticated equipment.

The practices have been serving the needs of the pets of the Bayside and Glen Eira areas for over 30 years, and the clinics have always been in the ownership of the vets who work there. Dr. Damian McShane has been personally involved with our patients here since 1997, and Dr Michael Heath and Dr. Lisa Sander since 2000. Dr Diana Wilson joined us early in 2007, and we have Dr. Kate Bullen with us until her baby is due later this year. Seeing a locum can appear to disrupt the continuity of your contact and we are lucky to have a number of locums who come back to us on a regular basis and are very familiar with our clnics, but more importantly our patients and clients. These are Dr. Juliette Mills, Dr. Paul Owens, and Dr. Natasha Glumac.

It is important to know that we are a fully equipped Veterinary Hospital and pride ourselves on the sophisticated equipment that we have at our fingertips. If you want to be wowed by digital endoscopy, digital radiography, ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring, operating microscopes and amazing orthopaedic instrumentation, then please ask for a demonstration.

We pride ourselves on our level of service, and going the extra mile to "get it right". We have great continuity of care in cases of illness, and whichever vet you see you can be sure that they are up to date with the subtleties of your case.

Monday to Friday: 8.00am – 7.00pm

Saturday: 8.00am – 1.00pm

Sunday: 8.30am - 10.30am (East Bentleigh) & 11.00am – 1.00pm (Black Rock)
