Sikkim

Sikkim is a tiny Himalayan state in the north west of India. The skyline is dominated by the 3rd tallest mountain, Mt Kangchenjunga (8586m).

Sikkim is where Australian Charity Vets Beyond Borders works with the local group SARAH ( Sikkim Anti-Rabies and Animal Health). They provide the best veterinary care in the state, train vets and nurses and due to their work with street dogs ( vaccinating against rabies and deserving) have made Sikkim a Rabies free state.
